Lannick's interview

Could you tell us about your agency?

I opened a personal services business 2 years ago. Personal services mainly involve working with the elderly, lots of elderly people, but also active people. We're mainly involved in home maintenance, but we can also provide vehicle accompaniment, meal preparation and a whole host of other services to help people in their daily lives at home.

What brought you to Fygr?

Like a lot of people, I started out by saying to myself, I'm going to set up a business, I've got to keep track of my cash flow, it's extremely important, I'm going to make an Excel file. And I was lucky enough to meet a business manager who told me: "No, don't do that because you'll spend more time re-adjusting your spreadsheet as soon as a parameter changes, so try instead to find an application that exists on the market, an application to track your cash flow". And that's when I discovered and used Fygr.

Before that, it was a field I knew absolutely nothing about. However, we've just passed the Covid and that's exploded the cash flow of companies. And that's precisely where it was all the more important for me two years ago to say to myself "I need an application, I need a tool to monitor my cash flow and even to anticipate it". That's where Fygr came in.

What does Fygr do for you?

I have my little habits, and in my habits, I have a process which is to open my Fygr application and look at what I've cashed in and cashed out. I classify them, and that's extremely important.

It also allows me to aggregate banking data because I have two banks, so rather than going to open one bank, check what's been done, open another bank, check what's been done, Fygr actually aggregates all that for me and I can see at a glance what's happened.

It actually makes my day-to-day life easier.

Is there a before and after to Fygr?

Thanks to Fygr, I can now see possible changes in my cash flow, and I can draw a parallel by saying to myself, "Well, I had planned to spend €150 a month on telephony, and then it turns out to be €300 a month! Why?" So you can also quickly realize that there's an item that's overrun.

Fygr in three words?

I
n three words: "simplicity", "ergonomics", "value for money".

Would you recommend Fygr?

Really, it's worth all the Excel spreadsheets in the world, for nothing in the world would I bother creating an Excel file. It takes an insane amount of time, I can completely modify the parameters in Fygr and it adapts and that's what's great.
